This conveyor type lift is known as the “Magic Carpet” was added in 2006 to help accommodate beginner and very young skiers learning to ski. It works like a conveyor belt and was the first on the Escarpment. There was once a rope tow in the area under the first 2 towers of the Funnel Express. It was constructed when the club first opened for young and beginner skiers but was removed. The club then went with a new rope tow with handles where the Magic Carpet is now.
