The Little John Chairlift

February 2017

Time: 2min to mid, 4min to top Speed: 7.2km/h

Vertical Rise: 93m

This triple chair, known as the “Little John Chair” was an addition in 1987. It replaced a T-bar installed in 1970. This T-bar was the original “Bell Lift”, the second lift at Craigleith which was originally located between the now lower Funnel and Lower Partridge. It was moved to the Little John when the National Chair opened in 1969. The Little John Chair has a mid-station allowing beginners and skiers just learning to get off and ski the lower gentler slopes of the Zipper and Little John. Going to the top gives you access to the entire steeper portions of the Little John slopes.
