Big John

February 2017

Most Difficult

Big John is considered to be the best hill for racing at Craigleith. It hosts the club championships and the Nick Zoricic (NZ) event. It’s named after John Goodchild who owned the 200 acres that became the south end of the club in 1966. This area is originally known as the “V-Hill,” now includes Landslide, Pen, Manitou, Vortex, Millennium and Venture as well as the Orchard neighbourhood next to Blue Mountain Road.
